Follow these simple steps to check if your phone supports eSIM.

iPhone: Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > Add eSIM. If you see “Add eSIM” or “Add Cellular Plan,” your device is compatible.

Android (Samsung): Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager. If you see “Add eSIM,” your device supports it.

Alternatively you can also try the following:

1. On your phone, dial *#06#.
2. Look for a number labeled EID.
3. If you see an EID, your phone supports eSIM. If no EID appears, the device does not support eSIM

You can choose to install your eSIM either before your flight or once you arrive in Canada. If you install it before flying, just keep mobile data turned off until you land. Once in Canada, connect to Wi-Fi, scan the QR code, and you’ll be ready to go within minutes.
